Mitchell tennis players compete in indoor Yankton tournament

YANKTON -- Members of the Mitchell High School tennis teams competed at the Yankton Lewis & Clark Indoor Classic over the weekend.

Lincoln Bottum was the consolation champion of ages 14-and-under while Nathan Wagner was the consolation champion of ages 16-and-under.

For the girls, Katie Morgan was a consolation champion for ages 14-and-under and Delaney Degen was a consolation champion for ages 16-and-under. In the 16-and-under singles bracket, Megan Mastel placed second, along with Amber Moller placing second in the 18-and-under singles bracket.

Harold Mayer and Megan Mastel finished second in the mixed doubles 14-and-under while Tyler Loecker and Delaney Degen finished second in the mixed doubles 18-and-under.
