RAPID CITY-Mitchell High School girls tennis remained unbeaten with a 9-0 sweep of Rapid City Christian in its first dual meet of the Rapid City Invitational.
Amber Moller got the nod at No. 1 singles and won her first individual match of the season, beating Mia Shankle in three sets, 3-6, 6-2 and 10-6. Kelsey Dahme was victorious at No. 2 singles thanks to a pair of 6-1, 6-1 wins, while Madison Bohlen won at No. 3 singles, 6-1, 6-4, over RC Christian's Paige Wagner. Kiersten Bathke and Atlanta Stahle each picked up two-set wins in singles competition.
Avery Larson and Dahme remained unblemished in No. 1 doubles action, winning 7-5 and 6-1. Bohlen and Bathke also won in two sets at No. 2 doubles and the No. 3 doubles team of Moller and Stahle won a pair of 6-2, 6-2 sets.
