MITCHELL — Mitchell Gun Club hosted a trap shoot event to raise money for ALS and the local VFW renovation project on Saturday, Sept. 24.
The Stumpshooters team won with 234 points, beating Team S&M Printing by two points. Stumpshooters’ Eric Wilson and Team S&M Printing’s Bob Miller tied for the highest score at the event with 49.
RJS Hay Boys placed third with 229 points, with Rick Stauffacher leading the team with 48 points. Palace City Pawn came in fourth with 217 points, led by Jay Linke’s 46.
Team No. 2, consisting of high schoolers finished fifth with 219 points, led by Wes Bigge, who had 47, while Team Nagel Painting came in sixth, one point behind Team No. 2, with 218 points, and Renken’s 48 points paced the team.
