The Mitchell Black teener baseball team grabbed a pair of victories Wednesday, defeating Harrisburg 6-1 and 17-7 (in five innings) at Drake Field.
In the opener, Logan Sparks pitched five innings for the win and had four strikeouts. Hunter Stahle got the save, striking out two batters in two innings of work.
At the plate, Sparks was 2-for-3, Carter Jacobsen went 1-for-3 and Jackson Sadler 1-for-1 with 3 walks.
In the second contest, Colby Gillen threw four innings and earned the win, striking out two batters. Peyton Nash pitched the final inning for Mitchell.
Offensively, Sadler was 3-for-4, Jens Enga went 1-for-3 and Gillen went 2-for-3.
