ABERDEEN - A complete-game effort on the mound from Ethan Price helped the Mitchell Black teener baseball team to a regional tournament victory over the Watertown Black Sox 6-3 Thursday.
Price threw 92 pitches and allowed five hits, three runs (two earned) and struck out four, as a six-run fourth inning put Mitchell in control.
Seth Muth, Jake Helleloid and Tate DeBoer each had two hits, with DeBoer knocking in two runs. Carson Fahey and Jonah Schmidt each had RBI doubles and Riley McGinnis and Tyson Degen also had hits.
Mitchell (23-10) will face Brookings at 1:30 p.m. today in the winner's bracket, as both teams are undefeated in the tournament. The loser will play again following the contest to determine seeding for the state tournament.
