NEW YORK-Texas Christian University defeated Georgia Tech 88-56 in the NIT title game on Thursday at Madison Square Garden in New York.

Mitchell native Ryan Miller is an assistant coach for the Horned Frogs.

This marks the first time TCU has won the NIT. The Horned Frogs have qualified for the NIT seven times in program history.

Miller is in his first year as an assistant coach for TCU.
