SIOUX FALLS-The Mitchell High School boys tennis team continued a busy slate of matches on Tuesday.
After playing on Monday, the Kernels swept Harrisburg (9-0) and lost to Sioux Falls Roosevelt (6-3) at the Roosevelt triangular.
"Roosevelt is a lot better at the bottom of the lineup than I thought they were," MHS coach Pat Moller said. "They are a pretty solid team. Certainly I think someone we can beat. We lost a couple of close matches there. We got another nice win over an ESD opponent and it's setting us up for some nice seeds in that ESD tournament."
Baley Miller was the only Mitchell player to go undefeated on Tuesday.
"He really played solid tennis," Moller said. "He isn't making very many mistakes right now and when you can play that way at flight four, you are going to come out on top and he's kind of been a rock for us all year. He's got a pretty impressive record this year and let's just hope he can keep it rolling."

Miller edged Sioux Falls Roosevelt's Brady Barr 7-5, 7-6 (5) in the Flight No. 4 singles. Moller credited Miller's experience for putting over the top in the match.
"He knew how to handle himself in that kind of a match," Moller said. "It's nice to see him come away with some wins and hopefully he can keep that going."
The Kernels (12-3) will play a dual on Friday in Watertown against the Arrows. On Saturday, Mitchell hosts St. Thomas More at 9 a.m. at Hitchcock Park. The dual is a makeup from earlier in the season.
