YANKTON-Ethan Huber led the Mitchell High School boys golf team to a 10th place finish on Friday at the Hillcrest Golf and Country Club.

Huber shot an 88 on the par-72 course, including a 41 on the front nine. He birdied Hole No. 5 and shot par on five other holes in the front nine. Max Tupper shot five pars on the day, helping him shoot an 89 for the Kernels. Kade Clark birdied Holes No. 7 and 17 to finish with a 92, while Nick Bennett shot a 93 with a birdie on Hole No. 17.

Sioux Falls Roosevelt shot a 321 as a team to win the invitational by four strokes over host Yankton.

Jack Lundin, of Sioux Falls Roosevelt, finished 2-over-par with a 74, followed by Yankton's Michael Frick shooting a 77 and Jackson Faber, of Brandon Valley, carding a 78.

Mitchell will play at the Brookings Invitational at 10 a.m. Monday at Brookings Country Club.
