Marlins plays six games during annual Pink the Rink event

It's the fourth annual Pink the Rink.

The fourth annual Pink the Rink event for the Mitchell Marlins takes place on Saturday at the Mitchell Activity Center.

There will be numerous raffles on Saturday, with entries accepted until 8:50 p.m. and the drawing after the first period of the boys varsity game. The proceeds will be donated to the Mitchell Heart and Sole Cancer Association.

The first game of the day begins at 8:30 a.m. when the Mitchell PeeWee team takes on Sioux Center. The final five games feature the Marlins facing Oahe.

The girls 14U team plays at 10:30 a.m., followed by Bantams at 1 p.m. and the girls varsity at 3:30 p.m. The boys junior varsity drops the puck at 6 p.m. and the boys varsity rounds out the six-game slate at 8:30 p.m.
