The Mitchell Marlins girls varsity hockey team dropped two games to Brookings on Saturday and Sunday in Mitchell.
Mitchell fell to Brookings 6-4 on Saturday and 6-3 on Sunday.
Scoring goals for Mitchell on Saturday were Emily Spates, Jacey Brunsen, Madison Arnold and Kylie Barington.
Barington earned a hat trick by scoring all three goals for Mitchell on Sunday.
Katelyn Uithoven was in the net for Mitchell on Sunday and had 13 saves, while Tiadra Simmermon made 28 saves on Saturday.
