ABERDEEN-The Mitchell Marlins girls hockey team dropped a pair of contests to Aberdeen on Saturday and Sunday in Aberdeen.
On Saturday, Mitchell fell 12-0. Mitchell had 23 shots and Marlin goalie Ashley Zimmer had 37 saves in the loss.
On Sunday, the Marlins lost 8-0. Aberdeen outshot Mitchell 39-12. Zimmer had 31 saves.
Mitchell (5-13) plays in the Brookings Tournament on Friday in Brookings.
