ABERDEEN-Four first period goals lifted the Mitchell Marlin boys hockey team over Aberdeen 7-6 on Saturday in Aberdeen.

Drew Kitchens had a hat trick for the Marlins with three goals, while Spencer Neugebauer scored two goals of his own. Jacob Thill and Jesse Grosdidier recorded the other two goals for Mitchell.

Picking up assists for Mitchell was Jake Jarman (2), Grosdidier (3), Thill, Matt Muth and Bryce Geraets.

Joshua Loecker recorded the win for Mitchell in the net, racking up 20 saves.
