ABERDEEN — Dakota Wesleyan University volleyball continued its perfect start with a three-set sweep of in-state foe Presentation Tuesday night.
Set scores were 25-15, 25-19 and 25-18, and the win sends Dakota Wesleyan to 5-0 on the young season.
Mitchell native Mackenzie Miller paced the Tigers with a .458 hitting night, with a match-high 13 kills and four solo blocks. Mariah Gloe had 12 kills and 13 digs, with Ady Dwight adding seven kills and six from Jadie DeLange. Madeline Else had 33 set assists and six digs. Hanna Reiff had 18 digs for the Tigers.
Presentation (0-2), which hit .063 on the attack as a team, had six kills from Ashley Alonso and Becca Payne. Laura Babcock had 16 digs and three aces.
DWU, which plays its first 13 matches away from Mitchell, has a week off before visiting Dakota State on Aug. 31.
