Dakota Wesleyan University quarterback Zachary Lester was named the NAIA offensive player of the week. He was named the Great Plains Athletic Conference player of the week on Monday, as well.
In a 35-16 win over Jamestown (N.D.), Lester completed 16 of 24 passes for 199 yards and four touchdowns. He also ran it 10 times for 28 yards.
Lester has thrown for 1,395 yards, 14 touchdowns and seven interceptions, while completing 59.2 percent of his passes this season.
