Kimball/White Lake edged Miller/Wessington, 4-3, in 11 innings of a Pony Hills League amateur baseball game on Monday. The Nationals earned the No. 1 seed in the upcoming District 3B tournament with the win.
Kimball/White Lake scored the game’s final run on a fielding error in the 11th inning to earn the win. Wes Kroupa led the Nationals with two hits and one RBI. Brian Zeman, Dylanger Pierson and Joe Hieb each had a hit. Zak Wallner earned the win.
He struck out 12 batters, allowed one hit and zero runs through six relief innings. Dylan Mohnen started the first five innings and allowed seven hits, three earned runs and struck out one batter.
Alex Hyed, James White and Juan Sabalier each managed two hits to lead Outlaws. Casey Schlechter and Ryan Engle each had a hit.
Juan Sabalier took the loss for Outlaws. He surrendered one run on zero hits over 2/3 of an inning, striking out two and walking one.

Kimball/White Lake receives a first-round bye in the district tournament. It will play the Colome vs. Four Corners winner on Sunday. Plankinton plays Chamberlain at 2 p.m. on Saturday.
