The Mitchell junior varsity baseball team defeated the Corsica/Stickney/Armour Express 6-4 Tuesday at Drake Field in Mitchell.
Ben Miller got the win, throwing five innings. He gave up one run on two hits and struck out seven. Luke Bartl got the save.
Derek Miller had a hit and two RBIs, Brady Bathke had a hit and an RBI, Landon Neugebauer had one hit and Tyler Houwman had one RBI.
Corsica/Stickney/Armour's Walker Baan Hofman was 2-for-3 and Mason VanVuren had two hits and an RBI.
Mitchell JV (9-3) hosts Sioux Falls Roosevelt at 5 p.m. Friday at Drake Field in the team's last games of the year.
