SIOUX FALLS -- For the seventh time this season, the Mitchell High School girls soccer team didn’t allow a goal. The Kernels also failed to find the back of the net on Thursday in a 0-0 draw with Sioux Falls Christian.

Mitchell outshot the Chargers 19-5, but couldn’t find the final pass leading to a goal. Meanwhile, Caroline Titze saved four shots in net.

“The girls played a good game,” MHS coach Bob Lemon said. “We dominated every aspect of the game except on the scoreboard. It was unfortunate that we were not able to finish with a goal.”

Mitchell (7-2-1) hosts Huron at 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 24.
