Hinker sits in eighth for DWU women’s golf

LE MARS, Iowa -- The Dakota Wesleyan University golf teams competed at the Northwest Iowa National Invite on Monday, as the men sit in eighth place and the women are currently in fifth place.

Megan Hinker is in a tie for eighth place for the DWU women after two rounds. She shot a seven-over-par 151. She finished with four birdies.

Mitchell native Ashley Zimmer (164) is in 26th, while Howard native Jordan Glanzer (168) and Kaitlyn Greenhoff (172) are separated by four strokes and are in 31st and 33th, respectively. Winner native Ronae Klein carded a two-round total of 177 for 38th place.

Bennett Lundy paces the men with 152 strokes, as he sits in a tie for 23rd. Mitchell native Cade Carpenter and Jack Brinkman both carded 154 strokes and are in 30th. Devan Weelborg (157) and Payton Phares (161) are in 40th and 49th, respectively.
