After a dominating senior year for the Hanson volleyball team, Kynedi Cheeseman was selected as the Cornbelt Conference most valuable player and given first-team all-conference honors.
Her teammate, Hannah Marquardt, joined her on the first team. Hanson - which won District 8B and pushed eventual state champion Chester Area to five sets in the region championship - was the only team in the conference to get two first-team selections.
Other first team selections included Bridgewater-Emery's Hannah Harberts, Menno's Tara Spencer, Marion's Renae Kayser, Howard's Cayla Koepsell and Canistota's Kalli Ortman.
