YANKTON-The Burke girls and the Platte-Geddes boys claimed team titles at the Region 4B golf meet on Wednesday.

Burke, which won last year's state title, carded a 279 to earn the girls team championship. The Cougars were 67 shots better than second-place Bon Homme. Ethan came in third with a 348.

Platte-Geddes shot a 262 to win the boys team title, while Bon Homme came in second with a 270. Gregory took third with a 282.

Taylee Indahl captured the individual girls championship with an 88, while teammate Emily Stukel took third with a 92. Adisyn Indahl finished fifth with a 98.

Mount Vernon/Plankinton's Reagan Klooz took second with a 92, Burke's Emily Stukel (93) took third and Ethan's Ally Feiner (94) finished fourth.

Gregory's J.J. Beck was the boys individual medalist with a 77. Platte-Geddes' Brody Boltjes spearheaded the team title with a 79, while Stewart Van Zee tied for third with an 82. Bon Homme's Carter Libis also tied for third and Kimball/White Lake's Kaden Tyrell shot an 86 for fifth place.
