Golden Eagles fall at Centerville

MCS girls lost on Tuesday to Centerville


CENTERVILLE -- Centerville pulled away from the Mitchell Christian girls basketball team for a 60-44 win on Tuesday.

The Tornadoes led 30-21 at halftime, and then outscored the Golden Eagles 13-8 in the third quarter.

Ellie Hunter paced Centerville with 15 points and six rebounds, while Haley Meyer added 10 points, eight boards, five assists and five steals. Mackenzie Meyer chipped in nine points, four rebounds and two steals. Thea Gust also added eight points and four rebounds.

Audrey Hofer led the Golden Eagles with an 18-point, 10-rebound double-double. Maggie Reynen scored 14 points.
