Five Mitchell youth tennis players went undefeated this weekend to win their brackets at the Becky Moore State Farm Junior Tennis Jamboree. Thirty-one players participated in the ninth annual tournament, which was held Saturday.
In the boys 'A' bracket, Jacob Dahme went 3-0 for first place, with Carter Cavanaugh taking second. Garret Johnson won four matches without a loss for the boys 'B' bracket title with Nathan Zimmerman taking second place. The boys 'D' winner was Marcus Halling, who went 4-0, with Connor Thelen taking second place. Kelsey Dahme went 3-0 in her girls bracket and Kaihlen Smith was second.
Olivia Huber finished 3-0 in the boys/girls rookie round robin bracket, with Amber Moller taking second place. Max Tupper won the Boys 'C' bracket, going 3-1 for the tournament. Liam Fergen and Cameron Miller took second and third place in the tournament.
