Dakota Wesleyan University’s Zachary Lester and Dominick Warmbein each received weekly Great Plains Athletic Conference honors. The two helped Tigers defeat Jamestown, 25-16, on Nov. 14.
Lester, a senior quarterback from Fairbanks, Alaska, finished 16 of 24 for 199 yards through the air with four touchdowns and zero interceptions. He added 28 yards on the ground.
Warmbein, a junior defensive end from Sioux Falls, finished with six tackles and 3.5 sacks accounting for 18 lost yards against the Jimmies.
Dakota Wesleyan hosts Concordia at 1 p.m. Saturday at Joe Quintal Field.
