For the fourth time in his career, Dakota Wesleyan University senior wrestler Trever DeVestern has been named to the All-Great Plains Athletic Conference wrestling first team.
DeVestern, DWU's all-time wins record holder, has a record of 17-1 wrestling at 165 pounds this season and will be competing at NAIA wrestling national championships on March 4-5 in Topeka, Kansas. The redshirt senior was named to the first team in 2012, 2013 and 2014, prior to missing the 2015 season with an injury.
Concordia's Andrew Schulte (141 pounds) was named GPAC wrestler of the year, while Concordia head coach Dana Vote earned GPAC coach of the year honors after guiding the Bulldogs to the GPAC Championship.
