FREMONT, Neb. -- Alondra Patrida provided all the scoring for the Dakota Wesleyan University women’s soccer team in a 2-1 win over Midland (Neb.) on Saturday in Great Plains Athletic Conference action.
Patrida netted a goal in each half to give the Tigers a 2-0 lead. Midland’s Melissa Warner cut the deficit in half midway through the second half, but the Warriors never found the equalizer.
Alissa Betz saved six shots for the Tigers in the win. DWU had five shots on goal.
The Tigers (8-3, 6-3 GPAC) play Presentation at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Aberdeen.
