ANKENY, Iowa -The Dakota Wesleyan University women's golf team placed third at the Grand View University Spring Viking Classic on Tuesday in Ankeny, Iowa.
DWU carded a two-day team score 633 (316, 317). Bellevue University won the five-team event with a score of 581.
Individually, DWU's Lauren Fitts tied for fifth place with a total score of 147, while Taylor Anshutz took 13th with a 154. April Barnett carded a 159 and finished in 16th place, while Niki Nelson shot a 173 for 24th. Rachael Horner rounded out the Tigers' score with a 184.
DWU will compete at the Buena Vista University Invitational on Saturday in Storm Lake, Iowa.
