VERMILLION -- The first two rounds of the Great Plains Athletic Conference women’s golf championship had to be condensed into one day on Monday due to potential rain today.
Dakota Wesleyan University finds itself in fourth, shooting a 685 at The Bluffs Golf Course. Morningside (622) holds a comfortable lead, followed by Briar Cliff (673) and Concordia (681).
Megan Hinker (166) is tied for seventh to pace the Tigers, shooting an 82 in Round 1 and 84 to complete the day. Parkston native Jayden Bormann (168) sits in 13th, while Winner native Ronae Klein (173) also notched a top-20 performance as she’s in 20th.
Howard native Jordan Glanzer (178) and Mitchell native Ashley Zimmer (184) round out the Tigers in 26th and 42nd, respectively.
The GPAC championship will conclude with 36 holes at Bent Tree Golf Club in Council Bluffs, Iowa, on April 24-25.
