FREMONT, Neb.-The Dakota Wesleyan University women's golf team recorded a second-place finish at the Midland Fall Invitational on Monday. The Tigers carded a 352, which was six shots behind first-place Mount Marty College.
Doane College freshman and Burke graduate Tressa Bull was the individual medalist with a 79.
DWU's Jade Burr tied for eighth place with an 84, while Megan Hinker shot an 88 and placed 11th.
Platte native Niki Nelson (89) and Parkston native Jayden Bormann (91) tied for 12th and 27th, respectively. Mitchell's Ashley Zimmer shot a 93 and tied for 21st place.
The Tigers play in the Briar Cliff Invitational on Friday and Saturday.
