JAMESTOWN, N.D. -- The Dakota Wesleyan University women’s soccer team concluded a four-game road trip without a win after dropping a 5-0 contest to Jamestown on Wednesday.
The Jimmies scored 23 minutes into the game on a goal by Gabriella Diarte and added another from Katie Bakker 10 minutes later. Sydney Hollingsworth scored less than three minutes before halftime en route to a Great Plains Athletic Conference win.
Hannah Bowes made 12 saves in goal for DWU.
Dakota Wesleyan (3-8-1, 0-7-1 GPAC) returns home against No. 12 Hastings at 4 p.m. on Saturday at the Pepsi-Cola Soccer Complex.
