YANKTON -- Dakota Wesleyan University scored its third three-set sweep in four matches after dispatching Mount Marty on Wednesday.
Yankton native Rebecca Frick had 17 kills and 15 digs in her return home to lead the Tigers past the Lancers on the road in Great Plains Athletic Conference volleyball play, 25-17, 28-26 and 25-15.
DWU (18-7, 3-7 GPAC) overcame an early deficit to win the first set, before coming away with a critical win in the second set. Mount Marty had the Tigers on the ropes with a 24-22 lead, but DWU rallied to score the next two points. Brittany Bergquist eventually secured the win with back-to-back kills to win the set. Berquist had five of her eight kills in the frame.
The Lancers trailed for most of the third set as DWU led by as many as eight points to seal the sweep.
Bridgett Knobbe handed out 29 assists and came up with seven digs for the Tigers. Wagner native Emily Brunsing and Jadie DeLange had seven kills apiece and Mallory Cooper had a match-high 16 digs.

Elizabeth Watchorn led Mount Marty (7-18, 0-9 GPAC) with 12 kills and 10 digs, while Mikaela Ahrendt and Caitlin Dirks had nine and kills, respectively. Gabby Ruth also had 15 digs.
Dakota Wesleyan wraps up a four-match road trip and a stretch of six road matches since Oct. 1 against the College of Saint Mary at 3 p.m. on Saturday in Omaha, Nebraska.
