DWU soccer teams place three on all-GPAC first team

All-GPAC soccer teams were announced on Friday.

The Dakota Wesleyan University soccer teams combined to have three members on the all-Great Plains Athletic Conference first team.

The DWU women saw forward Alyssa Weidler and midfielder Josephine Bardsley both make the first team, while forward Ndrin Maloku represented the men on the first team.

Weidler scored 11 goals and assisted on five more, as she became the program’s all-time leading goal scorer with 40 goals in her career. Bardsley finished with seven goals and six assists for the Tigers. Maloku scored 11 goals for the Tigers.

Kassidy Johnson, Kamryn Harrop and Alondra Patrida all were honorable mention on the women’s side, as well. For the men, Carson Fox and Tyler Anderson both received honorable mention honors.
