YANKTON -- A double-overtime contest ended in a 1-1 tie between the Dakota Wesleyan University men’s soccer team and Mount Marty on Wednesday in Great Plains Athletic Conference action.
Ndrin Maloku scored the game’s first goal in the first half, but Mount Marty responded before halftime. Neither team found the back of the net the rest of the game.
Mount Marty held a 13-4 shots on goal advantage, but Matthew Campbell made 12 saves in the win.
DWU (2-5-1, 1-4-1, GPAC) hosts Jamestown (N.D.) at 7 p.m. on Oct. 21.
