DWU men's golf team in eight after second round of GPAC tourney

SIOUX FALLS--The Dakota Wesleyan University men's golf team is eighth place after the second round of the Great Plains Athletic Conference tournament on Tuesday at Willow Run Golf Course in Sioux Falls.

SIOUX FALLS-The Dakota Wesleyan University men's golf team is eighth place after the second round of the Great Plains Athletic Conference tournament on Tuesday at Willow Run Golf Course in Sioux Falls.

DWU carded a score of 311 on Tuesday and have a two-round score of 613. Morningside leads the GPAC with a score of 569.

For the Tigers, Russel Pick sits tied for 12th after shooting a 72 on Tuesday with a 145, while Connor Preston is tied for 26th (152) and Cade Carpenter is tied for 31st (153). Alec Johnson is in 48th (164) and Justice Morrison is in 49th (167).

The final 36 holes will be played on April 23 and 24.
