The Tiger men are in again.
For the fourth straight season, the Dakota Wesleyan University men's basketball team is among the 32 teams selected to the NAIA Division II national tournament. DWU plays Thursday, March 8 at the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls.
The Tigers (22-10) match up against Governors State, of Illinois, in the opening round in a 5:45 p.m. game. Governors State qualified to the national tournament for the first time in school history after winning the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference regular-season title.
DWU was among the 10 at-large teams selected to the tournament. The Tigers finished the season ranked No. 20 in the country. It is the 10th time in school history DWU has made an appearance in the national tournament.
