JAMESTOWN, N.D. -- Dakota Wesleyan University fell behind Jamestown 3-0 at halftime and could not recover in a Great Plains Athletic Conference men’s soccer loss.

The Jimmies scored 20 minutes into the game on a goal by Jacob Grosvenor and Aaron Pike added another tally 16 seconds later en route to a 3-1 win over the Tigers on Wednesday.

Freshman Rafael Medrano notched the lone marker for DWU in the 65th minute to finish a four-game road trip 0-3-1. Matthew Campbell also made four saves.

DWU (2-6-3, 1-4-1 GPAC) looks to snap its winless skid when it hosts No. 5 Hastings at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday at the Pepsi-Cola Soccer Complex.
