DWU holding football scrimmage on Friday

The Dakota Wesleyan University football team will hold a fall scrimmage on Friday night, which will serve as a preview for the Tigers' season opener, scheduled for exactly one week from then.

The Dakota Wesleyan University football team will hold a fall scrimmage on Friday night, which will serve as a preview for the Tigers' season opener, scheduled for exactly one week from then.

The scrimmage is scheduled for 6 p.m. Friday at the DWU football practice field, which is located along West Norway Avenue on the school's campus.

Food will be served and the school invites students, faculty, fans and families to the event.

The Tigers will host their archrival Dakota State University at 7 p.m. Aug. 26 at Joe Quintal Field.
