Dakota Wesleyan University hosted Concordia on Friday at the Christen Family Athletic Center in its first Great Plains Athletic Conference wrestling dual of the season.
The Bulldogs treated their hosts to 58-0 loss, sparked by an opening-match technical fall, as Zackary Moistner topped Xylon Takata, 16-1. Mitchell Messersmith took the mat next for DWU, but was pinned in the second period.
Plankinton native Marcus Urban hung around, but was eventually pinned by Concordia's Issiah Burks. Bradley Dohmen also dropped his heavyweight match by technical fall, 20-3.
Dakota Wesleyan hosts the DWU Open at 9 a.m. Saturday in the Christen Family Athletic Center.
