SIOUX CENTER, Iowa-The only thing the Dakota Wesleyan University team can do now is wait.
After defeating Dordt College 48-21 on Saturday in Sioux Center, Iowa, the 9-2 Tigers will learn their playoff fate at 4 p.m. Sunday during the NAIA playoffs selection show.
After leading 27-21 heading into the fourth quarter, DWU outscored Dordt 21-0 in the fourth to cruise to an easy win.
Tigers quarterback Dillon Turner put on a passing clinic, as he threw for 354 yards and six touchdown passes while running for 151 yards. Hayden Adams had 10 catches for 123 yards and two touchdowns, while Dustin Livingston had six catches for 100 yards and a touchdown.
This was the second time in program history a DWU football team has reached nine wins.
