LINCOLN, Neb.-The Dakota Wesleyan University baseball team split a Great Plains Athletic Conference doubleheader against Nebraska Wesleyan on Sunday in Lincoln, Nebraska.
DWU dropped a 6-3 contest in the first game and won the second game 16-11.
In Game 1, Tyler Waddle hit a three-run double to lead the Tiger offense, while Patrick Whetham took the loss.
In Game 2, DWU recorded 16 runs on 15 hits. Chris Combs went 4-for-5 with a triple and three RBIs in the win.
On Saturday, DWU split a doubleheader with Concordia University in Crete, Nebraska.

DWU (15-12, 2-2 GPAC) hosts Presentation College in a nonconference doubleheader at 3 p.m. on Wednesday at Cadwell Park in Mitchell.
