Dakota Wesleyan University’s Hanna Reiff was named the Great Plains Athletic Conference defensive specialist player of the week. The Chester native helped the Tigers reach the semifinals of the GPAC tournament, improving to 23-8 overall and 10-6 in GPAC play.
Reiff, a junior, had 34 digs and a pair of ace serves as the Tigers took down Northwestern in five sets. This season, Reiff averages 4.86 digs per set, ranking her at 21st amongst the NAIA. She also ranks 22nd in digs this season at 335.
Reiff and the Tigers take on No. 1 Jamestown in the quarterfinals at 7 p.m. on Nov. 10 in Jamestown.
