Dakota Wesleyan's Ady Dwight picks up second-straight GPAC top attacker honor

Dwight ranks in top-15 in national statistical categories in Tigers' 15-1 start

Two big weeks, two straight Great Plains Athletic Conference volleyball attacker of the week awards for Dakota Wesleyan's Ady Dwight

Dwight, a sophomore from Langford, racked up 39 kills in a pair of conference wins on the week. Against the Dordt, she had 21 kills and four blocks and she hit .500 and piled up 18 kills and four blocks in a sweep over Briar Cliff. She hit .417 for the week.

For the season, Dwight has 234 kills in 54 sets and is hitting .368 for the season. Her rate of 4.33 kills per set ranks at No. 8 nationally in the NAIA, and she ranks No. 9 in hitting percentage and No. 14 nationally in total kills. Dwight also has 57 total blocks on the season.

DWU (15-1, 5-0 GPAC) travels to Orange City, Iowa to play Northwestern at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 29, followed by a 5 p.m. match at Morningside on Saturday, Oct. 2.
