COUNCIL BLUFFS, Iowa -- Dakota Wesleyan University’s Megan Hinker sits in fourth place after the third round of the Great Plains Athletic Conference tournament.
Hinker fired a 76 on Friday at Bent Tree Golf Club in Council Bluffs, Iowa. She has 239 through three rounds and 11 strokes behind Morningside College’s Sam Knight (228).
Morningside, the defending GPAC champion, shot a 305 on Friday and leads the tournament with a 934. Jamestown (1,051), Concordia (1,054) and DWU (1,059) round out the top-four.
Individually, Knight had the low round of the day with a 73 (+1). Morningside’s Maria Zorrilla is in second with 231 and teammate Laia Badosa is third with a 234. Hinker and College of Saint Mary’s Tori Suto round out the top five.
Also for DWU, Ashley Zimmer is in tied for 20th place with a 273. Ronae Klein is tied for 23rd with a 274. Jordan Glanzer (284) is in 30th place.
