Dakota Wesleyan receiver Spencer Neugebauer named NAIA All-American

Dakota Wesleyan University wide receiver Spencer Neugebauer was named an NAIA honorable mention All-American Wednesday.

Dakota Wesleyan University wide receiver Spencer Neugebauer was named an NAIA honorable mention All-American Wednesday.

It is Neugebauer’s first appearance on the squad, determined by the American Football Coaches Association, after ranking in the top-15 nationally in seven different statistical categories.

The Mitchell native led the nation with eight receptions per game and was third with 72 total receptions. He was also eighth with 1,353 all-purpose yards and 10th with 150.3 all-purpose yards per game. He also tallied 772 receiving yards.

Neugebauer finished his DWU career fourth all-time in the program with 186 catches and 2,469 yards. His 72 grabs this season were tied for third-most in a season.
