COUNCIL BLUFFS, Iowa -- The Dakota Wesleyan University women’s golf team placed fourth at the Great Plains Athletic Conference Championships Friday and Saturday.
The Tigers were third during the fall portion of the championships, shooting a 1,400 overall and a 680 in the spring portion at Bent Tree Golf Club.
Megan Hinker led DWU with a 319 to place fifth overall, shooting a 76 and 80, respectively, in her final two rounds. Winner native Ronae Klein tied for 23rd after shooting a 91 and 87 in her final two rounds. Mitchell native Ashley Zimmer was 25th with a 362, while Howard alumna Jordan Glanzer was 27th with a 369.
