SDSU's Myah Selland named Summit League player of the week for 10th time in her career

Selland averaged 19 points while shooting 79 percent from the floor and 71 percent from 3-point range to help the Jacks wrap up the regular season with an 18-0 league mark.

SIOUX FALLS — South Dakota State women's basketball's Myah Selland has been named the final Summit League player of the week for the regular season season, as announced by the conference office on Monday.

Selland averaged 19 points while shooting 79 percent from the floor and 71 percent from 3-point range to help the Jacks win two games this week and wrap up the regular season with an 18-0 league mark.

SDSU opened the week with an 86-52 victory over Kansas City, where Selland finished with 17 points on a perfect 7-for-7 performance from the floor. She also contributed four assists, four rebounds and three steals. Against Oral Roberts Saturday, Selland led the Jacks to a 92-67 win with 21 points, four rebounds, two steals, one block and one steal. She went 8-for-12 on the afternoon and 3-for-5 from the 3-point line.

This is the 10th weekly honor of Selland's career and her second of the season.

The Jackrabbits (25-5, 18-0 Summit), who are the No. 1 seed in the Summit League tournament, play at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 4 against the winner of the St. Thomas and Western Illinois first-round game in Sioux Falls.
