The new Class A Legion baseball postseason format has yet to see a decisive third game. All eight teams that advanced to the second round won both games on Tuesday in the best-of-three series. The second round matchups have been set, with Rapid City Post 320’s upset over Sioux Falls East being the only lower seed to advance.
Here's a look at the Regional second round pairings, with two games being played on Aug. 3 and a Game 3 being played on Aug. 4, if necessary. The four winners advance to the state tournament on Aug. 7-9 hosted by the highest remaining seed.
