CLEAR LAKE-The Chamberlain gymnastics team scored 132.5 points and won the Deuel Invitational on Saturday in Clear Lake.
Britton placed second with 129.2 points in the seven-team event.
Shantel Bairey led Chamberlain with a second place finish in all around with 34.55 points. Britton's Whitney Bredvik won all around with 34.6 points, while the Cubs' Mikayden Weston took fifth with 32.55 points and Brittney Naser finished seventh with 32.15 points.
Bairey won the beam event with a score of 9.25, while Weston won the floor with a score of 9.1. Chamberlain's Ciara Hough and Rhian Felicia tied for first on the vault with a score of 8.95.
Chamberlain competes at the region gymnastics meet on Friday in Wagner.
