Chamberlain/Kimball/Lyman can't contain Royals' bats

CHAMBERLAIN-The Winner/Colome baseball team scored runs in all but one inning during a 14-4 win over Chamberlain/Kimball/Lyman on Friday in prep baseball play.

Jackson Kinzer went 5-for-5 with two RBIs, helping the Royals (7-3) to 18 hits. Oscar Pravecek drove in a team-high four runs during his 3-for-6 days, while Joren Bruun and Phillip Jorgensen both recorded four hits.

On the mound, Evan Farner allowed an earned run in his two-inning start. Aaron Gilchrist gave up three runs (two earned) in three innings of relief, while Jorgensen tossed two shutout frames.

For Chamberlain/Kimball/Lyman (5-3), Jazz Dominguez had two of its four hits as he also drove in two. Caden Lenz suffered the loss, conceding eight earned runs on 10 hits in three innings, while striking out six.
