Marie Malloy scored a career-high 20 points in the University of Sioux Falls' 86-56 win over Upper Iowa on Friday.

The Parkston native connected on three of her four three-point attempts grabbed a career-high nine rebounds, falling one shy of a double-double.

USF (7-0, 3-0 NSIC) continued its undefeated streak against Winona State on Saturday, and Malloy added six points, four assists and three rebounds.

The Cougars have two Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference games this weekend against Minot State at 6 p.m. Friday in Minot, N.D., and University of Mary at 4 p.m. Saturday in Bismarck, N.D.

Drake's Priebe places at SDSU Open

Drake University freshman and Chamberlain graduate Hudson Priebe placed in several events at the South Dakota State University Open Indoor Track Meet over the weekend in Brookings.

Priebe placed second in the men's 300-meter hurdles with a time of 39.21 seconds and sixth in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.51 seconds. He was the third leg of Drake's 1,600-meter relay team that took second in 3:20.08.

Drake and Priebe are back in action after the Christmas break at the Holiday Inn Invitational on Jan. 16 in Lincoln, Neb.

Lindeman helps Mustangs to 11-2 season

Ethan native Kendall Lindeman helped the Morningside College football team to the semifinal round in the NAIA Championship Series playoffs.

In the Mustangs' 41-21 loss on Saturday, Lindeman made one catch for six yards. The junior finished the season with 26 receptions for 354 yards and six touchdowns.

Morningside finished the season 11-2.
