The Mitchell Marlins girls hockey team couldn't withstand a 26 shot effort from Brookings on Saturday at the Mitchell Activities Center, falling 7-1.

The Mitchell Marlins girls hockey team couldn't withstand a 26 shot effort from Brookings on Saturday at the Mitchell Activities Center, falling 7-1.

Grace Halvorson had the lone goal for the Marlins, while goalie Katie Uithoven made 19 saves.

The Marlins (3-5) take on Sioux Falls at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday in Sioux Falls.
